The WPI-1 to WPI-8 path
- Before construction: confirm who submits the WPI-1 application and whether a TDI inspector or appointed Texas licensed professional engineer will inspect.
- During work: schedule required observations while the relevant roof details are visible. Coordinate the roofing crew and inspector before those details are covered.
- After approval: TDI issues the WPI-8 Certificate of Compliance for qualifying inspected work. Some completed-work situations may have a separate WPI-8E path.

Where TBAR fits
