Information we receive

We receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, callback number, email address, roof location, roofing concerns, and preferred follow-up details. If you select a property in Instant Measure & Quote, we save the property address and city privately, along with a successful roof measurement and preliminary range or a reason the tool could not measure it, even if you do not request an inspection. Our phone receptionist processes your spoken responses and call details to prepare a request summary. Our service providers may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, call identifiers, timestamps, and delivery logs, to operate and secure their services.

Please do not provide payment card details, insurance policy numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive documents through the website or receptionist.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond to roofing requests, arrange follow-up, assess requested services, maintain business records, and operate and protect our website and receptionist. We use private Instant Measure & Quote activity to understand demand by city and property, and to compare measurements, displayed ranges and inspection requests. A measurement alone does not request contact or enroll you in marketing. Our daily activity email contains aggregate counts, not property addresses. We do not send street addresses to Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Lead summaries may be delivered to authorized TBAR personnel by email and, where enrolled and available, SMS. Authorized personnel may use the private TBAR Field app to record job details, photos, a property address, and GPS coordinates. TBAR reviews a job before choosing details and photos for a public project story. Public stories use the city and do not include the street address or GPS coordinates.

Service providers and disclosures

SiteGround hosts this website, securely saves roof quote requests and sends TBAR an email notification. FormSubmit is used for internal SMS alert enrollment requests, not roof quote requests. Twilio handles calls and messaging, SendGrid may deliver receptionist email, and Render hosts the receptionist. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are optional measurement providers as described below. AI processing services may assist the receptionist when enabled. If an authorized TBAR Field user taps Use my location, the app sends that device’s coordinates through TBAR’s server to Google Maps Geocoding API to suggest a street address. The suggestion is returned to the app for the user to check; TBAR stores job location details privately. Google processes the coordinates and lookup under its own terms and privacy practices. Information needed for these services is processed by the relevant provider under its own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legitimate rights and security.

SMS privacy and consent

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

SMS consent records are used to administer the TBAR Roofing Receptionist alert program and may be processed by providers necessary to deliver that program. Calling TBAR or requesting a roof quote does not enroll you in internal receptionist text alerts. See our SMS Terms and internal alert enrollment information.

Retention, security and your choices

Instant Measure & Quote activity records are kept privately for up to 90 days and automatically removed after that period. Separately submitted inspection requests may be retained longer as business records. We otherwise retain information as needed to respond to requests, maintain relevant business and consent records, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Some records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons.

External services and policy updates

Links and third-party services have their own privacy practices. This policy may be updated as our services change; the date above identifies the latest update.

Optional analytics and ad measurement

Google Analytics, Google Ads call measurement, and Meta Pixel load only after you choose Allow analytics and ad measurement. Google Analytics measures page visits, phone-link clicks, form starts, and requests saved by the website. For eligible visitors who came from an ad, Google Ads may temporarily replace TBAR’s 281-940-7557 number with a Google forwarding number to measure calls that last at least the configured minimum duration. The displayed number and mobile call link change together, and the call still routes to TBAR. The 409-710-9008 number is not part of this measurement. Meta Pixel loads only on the roof quote page and records a page visit and one Lead event when the website confirms a saved request. An earlier analytics choice does not enable this new Google Ads measurement.

Google and Meta may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, cookies, the page URL, referring website, and advertising click identifiers. Google Ads call measurement may process call timing and duration. We do not supply form answers, names, phone numbers, email addresses, roof locations, measurements, or price ranges as event parameters, and automatic matching of form fields is disabled for Meta Pixel. Google Analytics page views omit URL queries and fragments and use only the referring website’s origin. Google advertising storage and advertising measurement data are enabled only after you allow measurement. Personalized advertising, Google signals, and ad personalization remain disabled. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep all three services off. Your new choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change it. Declining stops further measurement, restores TBAR’s regular displayed number, and clears Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta cookies where accessible; it does not erase information already received by those providers. Website forms and phone links work without analytics or ad measurement.

Optional Toolbox feedback

If you share an idea through the Toolbox notice, we receive the topics you select and the comment you write. No name or contact details are required. Please do not include an address, phone number, insurance details or other sensitive information in the comment. We use these responses to improve the website; they are not roof quote requests or appointment bookings.

Feedback is stored privately on SiteGround and a notification is sent to TBAR by email. We use a temporary, non-reversible code derived from the submitting network address to limit spam; we do not include that code in the feedback record or analytics events.
