Commercial gutters came in various materials and styles that can be customized to fit the needs of your industrial or commercial building:

  1. Galvanized steel
  2. Aluminum
  3. Vinyl
  4. Sectional
  5. Seamless

Galvanized steel - Galvanized steel commercial gutters are an incredible choice for industrial uses. Steel and stainless steel are extremely strong metals that are durable and long-lasting. Steel choices can last a lifetime if they are properly maintained and repaired when needed. If you have a very large building that has a lot of water that needs to be drained when it rains, steel is probably the best option for you. These gutters are built to withstand all types of harsh weather conditions including severe rain, high winds and even hailstorms.

Aluminum -Aluminum commercial gutters are probably the most widely used and popular choice out there. This is because they are very affordable. Aluminum is a less expensive metal than other choices you may consider. Aluminum systems are very lightweight, which allows for your contractor to carry it around easily and makes for a less drawn-out installation process. Aluminum is also resistant to many weather conditions, making them a sound and reasonable option for commercial applications.

Vinyl - Vinyl commercial gutters are quickly becoming a popular choice for business owners. Vinyl is very easy to haul and install, as it is a very lightweight material as well. Vinyl also has the added benefit of being very easy to handle, cut, and mold, so this material can be used for custom jobs also. Vinyl choices come in a lot more colors than other gutter options and have the tendency to retain their color very well, without fading or chipping. These systems are also very flexible and resist pressure and dents very well.

Sectional - Sectional commercial gutters systems are the most common type of system you will see on industrial buildings, warehouses, office buildings and other commercial structures. A sectional system consists of different pieces of material that can be constructed easily in a variety of formations to make for easy installation. The designs for these configurations are generally not very complex and can easily be made to fit different building shapes. Sectional systems are usually made from aluminum or vinyl materials.

Seamless - Seamless systems are kind of a misnomer. They are not actually free of seams; they just have fewer seams than a sectional system, resulting in fewer leaks and less ongoing maintenance. These types of gutters should always be installed by a reputable contractor, such as TBAR, because they do tend to be a bit more complex than other choices. These systems are generally made of aluminum or steel and will be cut to fit once we arrive at the jobsite.
